Melvin E. Roberts was born April 5, 1920 at Wagnor, Oklahoma. He died April 17, 1991 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Hoylene Kizziar May 26, 1952 at Vernon Texas. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and World War II. He was retired from the Army Civil Service and had been a resident of Altus since 1965. services are scheduled for Saturday April 20, 1991 at 2pm in the Lowell-Tims Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Carl McCoy. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife Hoylene Roberts of Altus, Oklahoma; son David Hoyle Curbow of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Debbie Cambell, Settle, Washington; great-granddaughter, Breanna Marie Cambell, Settle, Washington; three brothers, Glen Roberts, Missouri; Leonard Roberts, California, Wayne Roberts, Kansas.

Me. Roberts was preceded in death by his mother and father.
