Obituary for Thomas L. Palmer
Mr. Thomas L. Palmer, age 75, long time resident of Eldorado, died Sunday morning at Chillicothe Hospital.
Memorial services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at Corinth Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Gary Galeotti. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born March 7th, 1896 in Athens, Texas, he was married to the former Grace Brown on August 12, 1915 in Wellington, Texas.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of the home, include: one son, Thomas Jr. of Goodwell, OK; two daughters, Mrs. Ophelia Leonard of Levelland, TX and Mrs. Ella Mae Woodall of Eldorado; five brothers, Artie of Loraine, TX, Henry of Plainview, TX, Bruce of Watsonville, CA, Wayne of Dallas, TX and J.C. of Houston, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Robards, Mrs. Ella Smith and Mrs. Nora Ekstrom, all of Watsonville, CA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
