Phillip Orvil Ratliff, age 76, of Altus passed away August 10, 1982 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Phillip was born January 8, 1906 in Hull, Illinois, to L. H. and Samantha Jane (Bickford0 Ratliff. He grew up in the Prairie Hill community. Phillip married Willie Mae Kenmore in Mangum, Oklahoma June 15, 1922. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Mack Truck Company, retiring in 1965 and moving back to Duke, Oklahoma. Phillip moved to Altus in 1979.
Funeral services for Phillip Orvil Ratliff are scheduled for Thursday, August 12, 1982 at 2 pm in the First United Methodist Church, Duke, officiated by Rev, Rev. Everett Smalts. Burial will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Phillip is survived by his wife Willie Mae of the home in Altus; one son Phil Ratliff of Lewisville, Texas ond grandson, Danny one granddaughter, Donna McDonald, Ft. Worth, Texas; one great granddaughter and one great grandson daughter-in-law Vida Lee Ratliff of Ft. Worth, Texas.
