Oscar Lee Beckner age 84, of Altus, Oklahoma, died April 27, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Altus.
Oscar was born July 21. 1897 in Ellis County, Texas to John and Alice (Davis) Beckner. he moved to Jackson County Oklahoma in 1937 and farmed most of his life. Oscar married Euna Mae Ellis, May 14, 1922, in Seymore, Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for Oscar Lee Beckner Thursday, April 29, 1082 at 2:00 pm in the Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Oscar Lee Beckner is survived by his wife Euna Mae of the home; three sons O. L. Beckner Jr., of Houston, Texas; James Beckner, Houston, Texas; Bobby Joe Beckner, Houston, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Betty Sue Patterson September 10. 1972.
