Obituary for Crawford C. Nelson
Mr. Crawford C. Nelson, age 72, long time resident of Eldorado, died Friday night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the Eldorado First Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Don Ladner and assisted by the Reverend Laverne Laing. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born Aprill 11, 1904 in Alexander City, Alabama, he was married in 1924 to the former Myrtle Grimes, who survives of the home. They moved to the Eldorado community in 1927. He was a retired farmer and member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: two sons, Farris Nelson of Hobbs, NM and James Nelson of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister, Mrs. David McAdams of Wintergarden, FL; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Mr. Nelson will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
