Obituary for Taylor Wood Rogers
Mr. Taylor Wood Rogers, age 73, of Eldorado, died Thursday night at his house of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the Eldorado Church of Christ, officiated by Orlan Church. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born May 23rd, 1903 at Enloe, Texas, he was raised in the Eldorado community, but for the past several years he lived in Ft. Worth where he was Supt. of Transportation in excess of 40 years for a large food firm. Additionally, he professionally participated in Circuit Rodeos, and was an outstanding calf roper and Rodeo Announcer. He was married in 1924 to the former Mary Lucille Street, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one son, Taylor Rogers, Jr., of the home; one daughter, Allene Rogers of Ft. Worth; one brother, Verdon Rogers of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Novene House of Ft. Worth; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rogers will lie in state at Lowell-Richardson Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
