Obituary for Effie McNeely Foster
Mrs. Effie Foster, age 84, of 824 E. Elm, died Friday morning at her residence.

Services will be at 2:30 P.M., Sunday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend David Matthews and assisted by the Reverend James W. Read of Amarillo. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born February 28th, 1886 in Wise County, Texas, she was married in December 1905 to Mr. E. L. Foster and moved to Oklahoma in 1919. They farmed in Jackson County until retiring and moving to Altus in 1951. Mr. Foster died in1959. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Pixley of Altus; one son, Mr. James Foster, of Altus; one sister, Mrs. L. H. Bryan of Altus; four grandsons; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
