Sarah Isabel Powell, 72, of Blair passed away July 4, 1991 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born August, 29, 1918 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 10:00am Monday July 8, 1991 at the of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint.
Mrs. Powell was an Avon representative for over 20 years. She also organized First Nation Federation of Grandmothers Clubs in Oklahoma, Sunday School Secretary for many years.
Mrs Powell is survived by her husband Clifford (Steve) Powell, Blair, Oklahoma; step-mother, Cordelia Foster, Napa, California; son Tommy and wife Elveta Davis, Blair, Oklahoma; daughter, Jane and husband, Johnie Abernathy, Los Angeles, California; brothers, Donald Meneley, Everett Meneley, Riley Meneley, sisters, Lillie Shackleford, Arizona; Geneva Harris, California; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her father, James T. Meneley.
