Willis T. Gore


Willis T. Gore, 80, long time Attorney and businessman of Altus died Saturday morning at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 2:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Chapel, 1100 East Tamarack. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Wiginton. Burial will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Gore was born October 26, 1910 at Altus and was the son of Ellis and Mable gore. He was an Attorney for 42 years beginning his practice with his father E.E. Gore. When his father retired he took over the practice himself. He retired from his in 1985. He was Secretary of his Sunday School Class for many years at the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Gore is survived by his aunt Edith Hall of Altus, Oklahoma/
